Time for some inspo again! This time, I’d like to show you Gucci’s latest campaign – the SS16 campaign. It includes both stunning pictures and some 80’s short film. As for me, I’d say it’s awesome!
It’s clear that the campaign itself is so very 80’s pop culture inspired. And of course the campaign was shot at the underground in Berlin – the beginning of pop culture! It’s kind of in the same feeling as Gucci’s Pre-Fall campaign from 2015, which was inspired by the 70’s. Those photos got a more calm and laid back attitude, where these ones are more colorful and energetic. I described it further here (it’s in danish though) as I wrote an article about Gucci and their new creative director for the website.
Don’t forget to watch the short film! And then I’ll leave you guys to it, and see you soon.
So basically the campaign all bright colors, platform heels and of course the uni-sex tailored suits. You’ll see a bit of Londons checkered tweeds, Asian patterns and shiny materials – all with a bit of the french casual style. Not to forget to bowl haircut and the super oversized glasses! I must say that I’m a bit relieved that those aren’t ‘in’ anymore. Please keep it that way!
